The
island must be advised accordingly to ensure that the Minister
is available.
Ensure that your arrival into Fiji allows time for a visit to
the Registry office prior to boarding your flight to the island.
You must
be able to produce the following in order to complete your application
for Wedding License:
- Current
Passport
- Original
copy of Birth Certificate
- Original
copy of marriage annulment (if previously married)*
* if you
have been married previously, you must be able to produce a
copy of your original divorce papers, ie. A Divorce Decree Absolute.
If you are unable to produce these papers, the Registry office
will not accept your application for Wedding License.
