our guest to experience the Fijian Culture and take part in the
Fijian way of life.
Village Tours & Children's Meke,
Guided Mountain Treks and Leisurely Bush Walks, Traditional Lovos
and Beach Picnics provide a wide experience of the culture for
which our guests have come to these South Seas Shores.
SURFING
- The 360 islands of Fiji are a Surfers' undiscovered paradise
taking even the adventurous by storm. New breaks are being discovered
constantly.
At
Hideaway Resort there is a perfect right hand reef break within
an easy paddle from your bure. The surf runs year round with a
peak season between May and September. Best surf is when high
tide occurs early morning.
Hideaway Resort is located on the coral coast, central to most
of the breaks on Viti Levu (Fiji's largest island). We also have
the most accessible break right in front of the resort.
Being a Reef Break it is only suitable for Experienced Surfers.
Bring your own Board as Hideaway does not provide rentals.
SNORKELING
- Fiji is world-renowned for the fantastic beauty of its underwater
environment. Tropical fish flash through a blue heaven of ocean
and castles of roseate coral. You might see the brilliant parrotfish,
lionfish, angelfish, crescent perch, sea cucumbers, and even octopi
in your travels.
BODY
SHOP - Pamper yourself with a massage, facial, manicure/pedicure
or perhaps you would prefer a completely new hair style? Our Beautician
and Hair Stylist will be very happy to assist with any beauty
needs. Remember, this service is not only available for the ladies.

- Hideaway Resort is unique in Fiji with our own staff and friends
from Taqaqe village supplying the Night Time Entertainment tailored
to amuse all ages and interest.
A balance of cultural and contemporary themes make up our entertainment
program. Every night of the week sees a different theme.
When the entertainment concludes
Hernando's Disco begins with the latest and greatest dance music
being played for your enjoyment. Guests come to rock the night
away.
